Status Overview
The lead status in the recruiting application tracking system helps in categorizing and prioritizing leads based on their contribution to the recruitment process. Direct leads are the most valuable due to their immediate impact on job placements, and followed by influenced leads which play a significant role in the networking aspect. A status of none indicates they are still in the potential stage of becoming significant to the recruitment efforts.
1. Direct Leads
Direct leads refer to situations where a referral directly leads to the candidate being placed in a job. This type of lead is characterized by a direct referral of the candidate to the recruitment agency or system.
Characteristics of Direct Leads
- Direct Referral: The lead comes from a direct referral of the candidate.
- Job Placement: The candidate has been successfully placed in a job through the lead.
2. Influenced Leads
Influenced leads are those where the referrer did not directly create the candidate’s profile but influenced the process by referring the job to the candidate or vice versa. These leads indicate a level of influence in the job placement process but are not direct referrals.
Characteristics of Influenced Leads:
- Indirect Role: The lead has an indirect role in the recruitment process.
- Job Referral: Involves the referral of a job to the candidate or the referral of the candidate to a job, but not by the candidate's direct application.
3. None
None
is a status of those where the lead has not yet resulted in any job placement. These leads are in the initial stages of the recruitment process or may require further action to convert into active recruiting leads.
Characteristics of None Leads:
- No Placement: No job placement has occurred through these leads yet.
- Early Stage: Often in the early stages of the recruitment process.
